Orange

Orange slice

Thinking a head to my "structure" assignment I thought about photographing a slice of an orange. If I get it right, it will look like the orange is glowing and you can see the lines the "structure" of the orange. I went to a location where there would lots of light and propped up the orange slice. It looks great. I played with the settings in the camera and found that the best one actually came from the auto settings in "macro". The shot is just what I was looking for, a nice balanced shot with the subject centered and the focus on the orange.
